Heard the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner and the learned AGP for the State.

The learned AGP states that an application for renewal of Eating House licence made by the Petitioner is still pending before Tahsildar, Miraj. He states that Tahsildar will decide the said application within the time specified by this Court.

In view of the aforesaid statement, we dispose of the Petition by passing the following order :­

ORDER

(i) We direct the Petitioner to appear before the Tahsildar Miraj on 19th January, 2015 at 11.00 am. The Petitioner shall produce an authenticated copy of this order as well as a true copy of application dated 13th December, 2013 before the Tahsildar;

(ii) The Tahsildar shall decide the application dated 13th December, 2013 as expeditiously as possible and within a period of one month from 19th January, 2015;

(iii) We make it clear that no adjudication is made on the merits of the application of renewal of licence;
