This Petition is filed for the following reliefs : "(a) rule be issued returnable early;

(b) by an appropriate Order, Direction and /or Writ of Mandamus, this Hon'ble High Court be pleased to direct the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Satara to show cause as to why the said authority has not taken action as per Order Dt. 11/12/2020 till today;"

Pursuant to the notices issued to the Respondent, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Satara, District Satara has filed an affidavit-in-reply on 15.11.2021 on behalf of Respondent No.3 and another affidavit-in-reply is filed by Block Development Officer, Panchayat Samiti, Satara on 12.11.2021 on behalf of Respondent Nos. 2, 4 and 5.

Upon perusal of the averments in both the affidavits, it appears that action has been initiated by the said authorities at their ends. We expect that they will take appropriate steps to its logical end so as to comply with the order and directions in the order passed by the Divisional Commissioner (Revenue) Pune Division, Pune dated 11.12.2020 within 10 weeks from today. It is made clear that all contentions of the parties are kept open.

With the above observation, Writ Petition stands disposed of. 5.

In case the directions contained in the order of the Divisional Commissioner, Pune are not complied with within 10 weeks from today, liberty to the Petitioners to avail appropriate remedy as available in law.
