Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he has filed an application for seeking discharge. The application dated 14th March 2024, filed in the registry is placed on record. Application for discharge states that the letter issued to petitioner no.1 is returned with postal remark 'dead'. The application further states that letter issued to petitioner nos. 2, 3 and 4 is served upon them through post.

8-wp-2723-1999.doc intimated to the petitioners that the writ petition is listed for final hearing and they should engage another advocate as he will be seeking discharge. Alongwith the application for discharge, the learned advocate has annexed copies of postal receipts, letter dated 1st February 2024 issued to the petitioners and postal tracking report to show that the letter is served upon the petitioners. 3.

Though, petitioners were intimated regarding discharge, no other advocate is appearing in the petition on behalf of the petitioners.

In view of the compliance made by the learned advocate for the petitioners as stated hereinabove, the learned advocate for the petitioners is granted discharge from the matter. 5.

Since, no other advocate appears on behalf of the petitioners, the writ petition is dismissed in default.
