Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

This is an application for stay. By an order dated 23/8/2013, ad-interim stay was granted on condition of the applicant depositing the entire amount of the award within six weeks. The learned counsel for the applicant points out that the applicant has deposited an amount of Rs.5,28,197/- before the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (MACT) at Alibag.

In that view of the matter, the application is allowed. The order dated 23/8/2013 is hereby made absolute which shall operate during the pendency of the appeal.

The amount of Rs.25,000/- deposited before this Court alongwith interest if any, shall be made over to the MACT at Alibag. C.V. BHADANG, J.
