The only relief sought for in this Petition is to decide the objection raised by the Petitioner to the transfer to the Petitioner to Zilla Parishad School at Lamaj, Taluka Mahabaleshwar, Dist. Satara instead of his preference option. The transfer was effected on 11th September 2019 i.e. almost 5 years ago. The Petition was filed on 27th July 2022 i.e. three years' after the transfer.

The notice was issued on 6th September, 2022. Copies were also not supplied and notices could not be served. Thereafter, the matter has remained pending. The matter is circulated on a praecipe, however, none appears for the Petitioner.

Considering that it is almost five years since the Petitioner has been transferred to the place of his work, no purpose is served in keeping this Petition pending. In case, by virtue of the fact that the Petitioner has continued for almost 5 years at the same place, as per Respondent's policy, the Petitioner can be transferred, then we keep it open to the Petitioner to make a fresh request to the Respondent Zilla Parishad accordingly, which will be considered as per law. 4.

Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
