Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, we deem it appropriate to direct the respondent No.1-The Hon'ble Minister of Cooperation of the State to decide an appeal filed by the petitioner under section 78 read with section 73CA of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960, copy of which is annexed at Exh.'J' to the petition, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order and it is so ordered. It is, however, made clear that we have not gone into the merits of the matter and all rights and contentions of the parties are kept open. 5.

In order to enable the Hon'ble Minister of Co-operation to comply with the above directions, the petitioner shall appear before the Hon'ble Minister, on 9th September 2019 at 11:00 a.m. along with a copy of the appeal and copy of this order. Ordered accordingly. 6.
