Heard the learned counsel for the parties.

This application is preferred seeking to amend the Writ Petition so as to incorporate the challenge of validity of sections 5, 15 and 16 of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007.

The learned counsel for respondent No. 2 submits that respondent No. 2 has no objection to allow the amendment. 4.
In view of the nature of the controversy sought to be raised by way of proposed amendment, the application stands allowed in terms of prayer clause (a).
