The present Public Interest Litigation (PIL) has been iled seeking a direction to Respondent No. 2, the Chairman & Managing Director of Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited, to initiate an inquiry into the old HT and LT composite line running from Miraj Bus Stand to Shivaji Road.

16-PIL-125-2022.doc Shivaji Road. The petitioner seeks a direction for Respondent No. 2 to initiate criminal prosecution against the responsible company. 3.

We ind that the Petitioner has not appeared since the iling of the Petition, including on the dates when the matter was listed on 19th October 2022, 22nd November 2022, and 20th November 2025. We have examined the memo of the Petition. If the Petitioner's grievance is that parts from the old HT and LT composite line have been stolen, it is open for the Petitioner to ile a comprehensive representation before Respondent No. 2 or the concerned authorities, bringing the matter to their notice for appropriate action. If such a representation is submitted, Respondent No. 2 or the concerned authority can examine the grievance and take necessary steps. Additionally, the Petitioner may pursue any other remedies available in law. 4.
