We are inclined to dispose of the present Writ Petition as the Petitioner's Appeal dated 23 January 2012, filed under Rules 17 and 18 of the Maharashtra Civil Services (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1979 (for short, "the MCS Rules") is pending with Respondent No.3 since 2012 whereby, the grievance is about the imposition of punishment and as the Petitioner­Appellant is already retired from 1/2

ssm 2 13­wp10289.15.sxw service, we are directing the concerned Respondent to dispose the Appeal filed by the Petitioner, as early as possible, preferably within eight weeks from today, in accordance with law. Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of.

Rule disposed of accordingly.

There shall be no order as to costs.
