Learned APP, on instructions from the Senior Jailor, Kolhapur Central Prison, Kalamba submitted that, as per guidelines of 11th May 1992, the crime committed by the Petitioner falls under category 5(a) and as per guidelines dated 15th March 2010, it falls under category 4(e). That, as per said categorization, the Petitioner will have to undergo 26 years of imprisonment including remission.

In view of the above, nothing further survives in the Petition. 2.

If the Petitioner is aggrieved by his categorization made by the Competent Authority, he may adopt appropriate remedy as may be permissible under the law.

Petition is accordingly disposed off.
