This is an application for cancellation of bail granted to the Respondent Nos.1 and 2 by this Court vide order dated 31/03/2021 passed in Bail application No.1241 of 2021. Both these Respondents were granted bail in connection with C.R.No.771/2020 registered with Mohol police station on Digitally signed by MANUSHREE NESARIKAR Date:

The grievance of the Applicant/Complainant is that the relatives of these Respondents and the Respondent No.2 on different occasions had threatened her for which the NCs are lodged and therefore bail granted to the Respondents, be cancelled.

I have considered these submissions. The NC referred to by the learned counsel for the Applicant are as follows: 1) NC No.930/2022 dated 25/05/2022 (2) NC No.937/2022 dated 25/05/2023 (3) NC No.1090/2023 dated 14/06/2023

(41) NC No.1123/2023 dated 19/06/2023 4.

Out of these four NCs only the NC No.1123/2023 names the Respondent No.2. All other NCs are against the different persons claimed to be relatives of Respondent Nos.1 and 2.

In this view of the matter, the allegations against the Respondent Nos.1 and 2 of tampering with the evidence and threatening of witness, are vague. There is no further

3 / 3 investigation about truthfulness of the allegations in this NC. Therefore, I am not inclined to cancel the bail granted to the Respondent Nos.1 and 2 by a reasoned order. At the same time, the police are required to offer adequate protection to the family of the deceased.

Hence, the following order :

O R D E R

(i) The application is rejected.

(ii) The concerned police station officers are directed to look into the grievance of the Applicant/Complainant and offer adequate protection, if necessary.

(iii) With these observations, the application is disposed of.
