This is an application for condonation of delay in preferring the appeal challenging the conviction and resultant sentence of the applicant.

45-APPA-1257-2018.doc Though the delay is inordinate, it is seen that the applicant/accused could not engage a lawyer to represent his cause before this court and he has sought legal aid by filing the application through jail.

In this view of the matter, the following order :

ORDER

i) The application is allowed.

ii) The delay in filing the appeal is condoned.

iii) The application is accordingly disposed off.
