The learned Counsel for Petitioners seeks a direction to the Respondent to proceed with the selection process in respect of the services under the State of Maharashtra. Normally we would have directed the Petitioners to approach the Administrative Tribunal first, but we are not required to pass any order in view of the statement of the learned Additional Government Pleader.

In the communication dated 3 June 2019, the Respondent - MPSC has referred to the decision of the Supreme Court dated 26 September 2018 in Special Leave Petition (Civil)

2 16 WP 9155-2019.doc No.30621 of 2011 and that the Respondent is awaiting instructions from the State Government regarding the procedure to be followed in respect of the examinations. The learned A.G.P. states that instructions have been received that the process will commence shortly. In view of the statement of the learned Addl. Government Pleader made on instructions, nothing survives in this Petition, which is disposed of.
