1] Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2] Case pleaded by the Petitioner is that in the year 1986 land belonging to the Petitioner was acquired for the Kalamawadi Irrigation Project and as per the Maharashtra Project Affected Persons Rehabilitation Act, 1976 he was held entitled to be allotted 5 Acres land. He was allotted land in different Gunthas in different villages in District Kolhapur but the allotment was short by 63 Guntha. 3] The Writ Petition shows that Petitioner's representations have not been responded to by the Respondents. 4] Thus, we dispose of the Petition directing the Respondents to decide the representation submitted by the Petitioner within six weeks from today and reasoned order be passed. 5] If the Petitioner is held entitled to additional land, the same would be allotted upon Petitioner completing the codal formalities. If it is held that the Petitioner is not entitled to any additional land, reasons thereof would be recorded in the order and needless to state in said circumstance, the Petitioner would be entitled to remedy as per law.
