By this petition the petitioner seeks a direction to the Education Officer to fix the scale of the petitioner by considering her initial appointment in 1999 and grant the consequential benefits to the petitioner.

During the pendency of the Writ petition, this Court had directed the petitioner to submit the proposal within a period of four weeks and had directed the respondents to decide the proposal of the petitioner within a period of six weeks therefrom.

9 WP 8828-11.doc Shri Mali, the learned AGP, appearing on behalf of the concerned respondents states that the proposal of the petitioner has been decided in February 2015 and the consequential benefits would be released in favour of the petitioner as early as possible. In view of the statement made by learned AGP, the grievance of the petitioner should stand redressed. Hence, we dispose of the Writ petition with a direction to the respondents to pay the benefits flowing from the fixation of the pay scale of the petitioner as early as possible and positively within a period of six months. Order accordingly. No costs.
