1] Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2] The challenge in this petition is to the judgment and order dated 28.03.2014 made by the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal (MAT), Mumbai allowing O.A. No. 1058 of 2011 instituted by respondent No.1. The MAT, after granting age relaxation to respondent No.1 had directed the petitioner MPSC to call respondent No.1 for interview and complete the selection process within three months from the date of the order.

22-cwp-1229-17 3] Today, when the matter was called out, Ms Ranjana Todankar, learned counsel for respondent No.1, on the basis of instructions from respondent No.1, stated that since the services of respondent No.1 have already been regularised, respondent No.1 is not interested in availing the benefit of the impugned judgment and order dated 28.03.2014. This statement is accepted.
4] In view of the aforesaid statement, there is no necessity to deal with this petition on merits. Therefore, leaving open the issues decided by the MAT in the impugned judgment and order, we dispose of the present petition, on the basis of statement made by learned counsel for respondent No.1, on the basis of instructions from respondent No.1.
5] This petition is accordingly, disposed of.
