The only prayer made on behalf of the petitioner, at this stage, is for expedited hearing of the Consumer Complaint No.287/2018. 3.

The respondent has filed a complaint under the Consumer Protection Act, 1986 against the petitioner before the learned District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Kolhapur being Complaint No.287/2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that the District Forum has passed an interim order against the petitioner on 1/9/2018 and it is still operating against the petitioner. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that the petitioner has filed an application dated 6/12/2018 for vacation of the interim relief which is still pending. The limited prayer is that Mamta Kale

2/2 10-wp-9101-19 the District Forum may be directed to decide the said application expeditiously.

Considering the fact that the ad-interim relief is operating against the petitioner from 1/9/2018 and the application dated 6/12/2018 for vacation of the ad-interim relief is pending, it is directed that the District Consumer Redressal Forum shall decide the said application dated 6/12/2018 filed by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four weeks from the receipt hereof. It will also be open for the District Consumer Forum to decide the complaint itself, expeditiously. 5.

The rival contentions of the parties are left open. 6.

No costs.
