P.C. :­ 1] The Petitioners in the present batch of petitions have instituted Writ Petition Nos. 143 and 1224 of 2015 questioning not only the competence of District Collector to issue disqualification orders, but also the orders made by the State Election Commission disqualifying the Petitioners. The two petitions are pending consideration before the Division Bench of this Court.

2] In the present batch of petitions, the Petitioners have questioned the orders made by the District Collector as also the State Government, actually disqualifying the Petitioners under Section 16(1D) of Maharashtra Municipal Council and Nagar Panchayat and Industrial Township Act, 1965 (said Act).

3] In the aforesaid circumstances, the learned counsel for the parties state that they would make an appropriate application before the Hon'ble Chief Justice for taking up these batch of petitions alongwith the two petitions pending before the Division Bench of this Court. 4] In order to enable them to do so, these batch of petitions are adjourned upto 16 October 2015.
