By this application, sent through jail, the applicant is seeking expeditious disposal of his appeal as well as bail. This Court, vide a separate order passed today in Criminal Application No. 1906 of 2018 (filed by Kiran Krishna More), has already expedited the hearing of the connected appeal being Appeal No. 836 of 2016. The hearing of the present appeal is also expedited. Registry to place both the appeals on the final hearing board in the week commencing from 25th March 2019. SQ Pathan 1/2
appa.1379.18.15.doc Insofar as prayer for bail is concerned, it appears that the applicant's bail application being Criminal Application No. 1434 of 2015 has been rejected on merits by this Court (Coram A. M. Thipsay, J.) vide order dated 7th April 2016. Thereafter, applicant filed a second bail application being Criminal Application No. 950 of 2016 and the same was also rejected by this Court (Coram : A. M. Badar, J.) vide order dated 18th April 2017. Since the appeal is being listed for final hearing in the week commencing from 25th March 2019, it is not necessary to consider the prayer for bail.
The application is partly allowed to the above extent and is disposed of accordingly.
