With a prayer seeking a direction upon the respondent nos.4 and 5 to submit the proposal for approval of the appointment of the petitioner on the post of Peon with effect from 22nd June 2010, this petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India. 2.

In the present proceedings, the stand taken by the petitioner is recorded in the order dated 20th June 2022. However, no reply has been filed. On 29th July 2025, hearing of this petition was adjourned by one day for taking instructions in the matter. Mr. Rahul B. Khot, the learned counsel appearing for respondent nos.4 and 5 states that the proposal for approval of the appointment of the petitioner 1/2

In view thereof, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.3-Education Officer (Secondary) to take a decision on the proposal forwarded by the respondent nos.4 and 5 as regards approval of the appointment of the petitioner to the post of Peon within next four weeks.
