This is an application seeking permission for renewal of Applicant's passport for next 10 years. Criminal Appeal is filed by the Respondent No. 1-State against Judgment and order dated 30th April, 2003 passed by the Sessions Judge, Satara in Sessions Case No. 104 of 2001 acquitting the Applicant/Org. Accused No. 23 from the offences punishable under Shubham Talle 1 of

30-Ia-2586-2025.doc Section 120-B, 376, 366, 342, 354, 420, 292, 109, 323, 504, 506 r/w. 34 of Indian Penal Code.

Our attention is invited to the order passed by this Court in Criminal Application No. 593 of 2012 in Kanhaiylal Bhavarlal Purohit vs. State of Maharashtra. We find that this Court had allowed the Application vide order dated 25th April, 2012 on the earlier occasion permitting renewal of passport for ten years. There is nothing on record to indicate that the Applicant has misused the liberty. 3.

In this view of the matter, the Application is allowed. No objection is granted for renewal of passport of the Applicant for a period of ten years. However, it is directed that the applicant shall not leave India without obtaining prior permission of this Court. 4.

Interim Application stands disposed of.
