The Petitioner is inter alia seeking directions that his proposal dated 22 July 2016 in respect of grant of lands bearing Gat No.160/3 admeasuring 22 R and Gat No.160/1 admeasuring 11 R from village Uchgaon, Taluka Karvir, District Kolhapur under Maharashtra Project Affected Persons Rehabilitation Act, 1999 be decided expeditiously and to put him in possession thereof. In the Affidavit in Reply filed on behalf of the State by the Tahasildar (Rehabilitation), it is pointed out that the Petitioner is not entitled to 11 R land as prayed in the Petition. However, so far as Petitioner's Application for grant of 22 R land is concerned, the same is under consideration.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions, fairly states that the Petitioner is now pressing only for grant of 22 R land and his Application dated 22 July 2016 may be considered expeditiously.

sat wp 2834-2017.doc In the circumstances, we direct the Respondents to decide the Application of the Petitioner dated 22 July 2016 in respect of grant of land bearing Gat No.160/3 admeasuring 22 R within three months from today in accordance with law. It is clarified that the Petitioner has restricted his Application only to the extent of grant of land bearing Gat No.160/3 admeasuring 22 R.
