This Application is preferred by the Appellant/Accused for condonation of delay. Delay is of 422 days. It is stated in the Application that the Applicant is in jail undergoing a sentence awarded to him. He was arrested on 31/08/2019. There is no one to look after the Applicant and the family. The Applicant since is in jail could not arrange to file an Application and the Appeal. Considering the fact that the Applicant is in jail and therefore she could not arrange to instruct the lawyer. Delay is caused. Delay though appears to the long but looking to the fact that it is by a person in jail.
