By this application, the applicant is seeking transfer of Marriage Petition No. A-196 of 2025 filed by the respondent which is pending before the Family Court, Bandra to the Family Court, Satara. 2.

It is the contention of learned counsel for the applicant that applicant stays at Satara. She has no source of income. The distance between Satara to Mumbai is more than 200 km. The applicant is lady and she finding it difficult to attend the Court dates at Bandra. Hence, requested to allow the application.

Though the respondent is served, none present for the respondent. Hence, I am deciding this matter on merit. 4.

The applicant stays at Satara. Applicant is a lady and she has no source of income. The distance between Satara to Bandra, Mumbai where the Marriage Petition filed by the respondent is pending, is more than 200 km. She finding it difficult to attend the Court dates at Bandra. It is settled principle of law that convenience of the wife has to be considered over the husband. Considering these facts, I pass the following order.

O R D E R

I.

Application is allowed.

II.

Marriage Petition No.A-196 of 2025 pending before the Family Court, Bandra be transferred to Family Court, Satara. III. Both parties to appear before the Family Court, Satara. 5.

Application stands disposed off.
