Mr. Kalel, learned AGP, on instructions, states that the proposal forwarded by the Management seeking approval to the appointment of the petitioner and which proposal is dated 24th August, 2018, will be processed and a final decision will be taken as expeditiously as possible and, in any event, by 31st January, 2019.

We dispose of this writ petition by accepting the statement as an undertaking to this Court. Let all pending SRP 1/2

(12)ASWP9725.18.doc proposals be listed seriatim and before all the concerned officials and in respect of all Managements and let individual Management or teachers be not forced to file writ petitions in this Court. We would appreciate if the State of Maharashtra, through the Department, concerned issues guidelines to this effect so that all proposals are processed, scrutinized and decisions taken before the end of the Academic year, namely, by 31st March, 2019.
