For reasons recorded in the order dated 10th September, 2018, we had rejected the prayer of the petitioner for grant of permission to undergo Medical Termination of Pregnancy. The petition was kept pending for two reasons, one was if the petitioner has a change of mind, directions could have been issued in terms of the statement recorded in paragraph 12 of the order dated 10th September, 2018. The learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner on instructions submits that there is no such change of mind. The second reason why the petition was
Shridhar Sutar 2 7-wp-9862,18.doc kept pending was to ensure that the petitioner is given the benefit of "Manodhairya" scheme.

The learned AGP has placed on record a report submitted by the SubInspector of Police of Shirwal Police Station dated 18th September, 2018, in which it is stated that on the basis of the report submitted by the police to the District Legal Services Authority, immediate assistance of Rs.30,000/ as contemplated by 'Manodhairya' scheme has been sanctioned to the petitioner. We accept the said statements in the letter dated 18th September, 2018. We are sure that subject to scrutiny of the documents regarding eligibility, the District Legal Services Authority will make all the benefits under the 'Manodhairya' scheme available to the petitioner as per the scheme.
