In the present petition, the petitioner individual has espoused the cause for and on behalf of the sugarcane producing farmers. All averments made in the petition are in the nature of public interest. The petition is not filed as a Public Interest Litigation conforming with the Rules for such purpose. Only on this ground, this petition is not entertained. It would be open for the petitioner to file a proper Public Interest Litigation for the same cause of action. 2.

Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
