Learned AGP Mrs. M. P. Thakur accepts notice on behalf of Respondent No. 1 to 4.

The Petitioner is before this Court with a grievance that despite acquisition of their land by Respondent No. 4 for the purpose of Chandoli Reserved Forest and retaining 65% of the total compensation somewhere in the year 1999, till date alternate land is not given to them. It is submitted that from the year 1999 they have addressed various letters to Respondent - SDO, Ichalkaranji Division, but the same are not attended to. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that lastly on 3rd August 2016 the Petitioner has filed detailed representation with the Respondent - SDO. 3.

In above circumstances, we dispose of this petition with patilsr 1 / 2

a direction to the Respondent-SDO, Ichalkaranji to consider and decide the said representation of the Petitioner as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within the period of 12 weeks from today. 4.

It is clarified that this Court has not gone into merits of the matter and the concerned SDO shall decide the said representation of the Petitioner independently, on its own merits and in accordance with law. All points and contentions of the respective parties are kept open.

Writ petition stands disposed of.
