Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned APP for the State.

This is an application for bail in respect of the offence punishable under Sections 307, 504, 50 of the Indian Penal Code (hereafter 'IPC' for short) registered on 31.05.2023 vide C.R. No.336 of 2023 with Faujdar Chawadi Police Station, Solapur.

The date of the incident is 30.05.2023. The applicant was arrested on 31.05.2023. The applicant though not married with the victim was in a relationship with her. The victim in her statement has stated that there is a daughter 1/4

born out of such a relationship. From the statement of the victim it appears that the applicant suspected that the victim was in a relationship with someone. On the date of the incident the applicant entered the house and threw chili powder in eyes of the victim. The applicant stabbed her with a knife. The victim was initially admitted to the government hospital where she took discharge against medical advice. Later she was admitted to a private hospital. 4.

Learned APP opposed the application for bail. 5.

The injuries on the abdomen and chest are simple in nature. The investigation is complete and the charge-sheet has been filed. In the facts and circumstances of the present case further custody of the applicant is not necessary as the applicant is in custody for more than three months. The trial is likely to take some time to conclude. The applicant can be enlarged on bail by imposing stringent conditions. Hence, the following order :-

O R D E R

(a) The application is allowed.

(b) The applicant-Kisan @ Krishna Ranganath Patole in connection with C.R. No.336 of 2023 registered with Faujdar Chawadi Police Station, Solapur shall be released on bail on his furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

(c) The applicant shall attend the Investigating Officer of Faujdar Chawadi Police Station, Solapur once in a month every first Monday of the month between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m.

(d) The applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing the facts to Court or any Police Officer. The applicant shall not tamper with evidence. (e) On being released on bail, the applicant shall furnish his contact number and residential address to the Investigating Officer and shall keep him updated, in case there is any change.

(f) Except for attending the trial and for the purpose of reporting to the Investigating Ofcer, the applicant shall not enter the Solapur City after being released on bail, till the trial concludes.

(g) The applicant shall not make any attempt to contact the victim or intimidate her.

(h) Any attempt on the part of the applicant to contact or threaten the victim or the witnesses will be viewed seriously which may result in cancellation of this bail.
