P.C.:­ The Registry has received communication dated 2nd April, 2019 from the Joint Charity Commissioner, Pune Region, Pune seeking extension of three months to dispose of case No.55 of 2015 pending on its file.

The record indicates that, on earlier occasions extension was granted to the concerned authority to dispose of the said case. The Joint Charity Commissioner, Pune Region, Pune in its communication has given a reason that there are 1300 cases pending before it and therefore, he could not devote sufficient time to dispose of the said case.

The concerned Authority has not stated that, how many matters expedited by the High Court are pending before it and in how many matters time bound program has been fixed by this Court. The spacious plea raised by the Joint Charity Commissioner, Pune Region, Pune is hereby deprecated. However, in the interest of justice, the period to dispose of the case No. 55 of 2015 is hereby extended by one month from the date of receipt of the present Order, as a last chance.
