It is contention of learned counsel for applicant that the respondent has filed Marriage Petition No. A 821 of 2024. It is pending before Family Court at Belapur. The applicant stays at Kolhapur. The applicant has filed marriage petitions which are pending at Family Court at Kolhapur. The applicant is lady. The applicant is residing with two children at Kolhapur. She works at Kolhapur. She is finding it difficult to attend Court dates at Belapur. Iresh

Though served, none appears for the respondent. Hence, I am deciding this application on merit.

I have heard learned counsel for the applicant. The distance between Belapur and Kolahpur is more than 250 Kms. The applicant works at Kolhapur. She is finding it difficult to attend Court dates at Belapur. It is settled law that convenience of wife has to be considered over the husband.

In view of above, I pass following order:

O R D E R

I.

The application is allowed.

II.

The Marriage Petition A No. 821 of 2024 pending before Family Court C.B.D. Belapur be transferred to Family Court at Kolhapur. 6.

The application is disposed off.
