Heard learned Counsel for the Petitioner .

Pursuant to the criminal prosecution initiated against the Petitioner, services of Petitioner were terminated by Zilla Parishad, Sangli where he was working as Shikshan Sevak. The criminal prosecution resulted in his acquittal. Accordingly, a representation dated 30th August 2018, copy of which is at page No. 72 of the petition, was made by the Petitioner for reinstatement. The said representation is not yet decided.

In such view of the matter, we direct the Chief Executive Oicer, Zilla Parishad, Sangli to decide the representation dated 30th August [This is the Corrected order as per speaking to the minutes order dated 19-12-2025] Patil-SR 1 of

89 Wp-16632-2023.doc 2018 made by the Petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions, submits that Petitioner will present himself before the Chief Executive Oicer, Zilla Parishad, Sangli along with a copy of this order and copy of the memo of this petition, on 23rd December 2025 at 11.00 a.m. 5.
