By this Writ Petition, the Petitioner after amendment essentially seeks implementation of the order dated 10th December 2019 passed by the State Police Complaints Authority ('SPCA'), Maharashtra State, Mumbai in SPCA/Complaint Case No. 611 of 2018.

None of the other reliefs are pressed for by the Petitioner in the Petition apart from the aforesaid.

Perused the Petition. The Petitioner essentially seeks 1/3

implementation of the order dated 10th December 2019 passed by the SPCA inasmuch as, it directs the office i.e. SPCA to send the entire original file to the Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Government of Maharashtra for a detailed enquiry to be conducted by CID, Maharashtra State, Pune.

Learned APP has tendered a letter of the Additional Director General of Police, CID, Maharashtra State, Pune dated 6th March 2025. In the said letter, it is stated that the Additional Director General of Police, CID, Maharashtra State, Pune has taken over the entire original papers for conducting an enquiry. Statement accepted. 5.

In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for further consideration in the Petition.

Needless to state, that the State CID to conduct the said enquiry expeditiously.

Petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms. 8.

Needless to state, that we have not gone into the merits of 2/3

the Petition and as such, all contentions of all the parties are kept open.
