By this application, the applicants are seeking anticipatory bail in connection with investigation of Crime No. 382 of 2019 of Ratnagiri City Police station under Section 13 (1) (e) and 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and Section 109 of IPC. 2.

The record discloses that by an order dated 27.09.2019, the applicants have been granted interim protection on certain conditions. That interim protection is operating till today. Sneha Chavan page 1 of 2

I have heard the learned counsel for the applicants and the learned APP. The learned APP on instructions from the Investigating Officer states that the investigation is complete and therefore, this Court may pass an appropriate order.

Considering the fact that interim protection is operating for more than 2 years and the specific statement that investigation is complete which would mean that the custody of the applicants is not required for the purpose of investigation, Criminal Application is disposed of in terms of order dated 27.09.2019 subject to the condition that the applicants shall co-operate with the investigating agency and shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence and witnesses.
