By this application the applicant is seeking transfer of Marriage Petition No. 1991 of 2024 filed by the respondent which is pending before the Family Court, Pune to Civil Judge Senior Division, Karmala, Dist- Solapur on the ground that she is facing difficulty to attend the Court dates at Pune. 2.

Learned counsel for the Respondent strongly objected to allow the application on the ground that the distance between Pune and Karmala is hardly 150 km. The applicant can attend the Court dates at Pune through video conference. Hence, 1/3

requested to reject the application. He further submits that if this Court inclined to allow the application, the respondent be permitted to appear through video conference. 3.

I have heard both counsel. Perused the transfer application.

Applicant is a lady. She has no source of income. The distance between Karmala to Pune is 150 km. It is settled principle of law that convenience of the wife has to be considered over the husband.

Considering these facts, I pass the following order.

O R D E R

I.

Application is allowed.

II.

Marriage Petition No.1991 of 2024 pending before the Family Court, Pune to be transferred to Civil Judge, Senior Division, Karmala, District-Solapur. III.

Both parties to appear before the Civil Judge, Senior Division, Karmala, District-Solapur.

IV.

The Respondent can file application before the Civil Judge Senior Division, Karmala for appearance 2/3

through video conference. The learned Civil Judge Senior Division, Karmala shall decide the said application on its own merit.

Application stands disposed off.
