Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that relief prayed for in the petition is for a direction to the Respondent to publish the merit list of all the candidates who appeared in the written examination held pursuant to advertisement dated 14th October 2024. It was principal contention of the Petitioner that entire recruitment process lacks transparency.

Aidavit in reply has been iled by the Respondent No. 1 airmed by one Shri. Sawardekar. In the said aidavit-in-reply, it is stated that merit list of all candidates who appeared in the examination has been published and copy of the same is annexed to Patil-SR 1 of

917 Wp-11365-2025.doc the aidavit. In this view of the matter, if at all the Petitioners are aggrieved, they will have to adopt appropriate remedies to challenge the merit list. Keeping all contentions raised in this petition open, liberty is granted to the Petitioners to challenge the merit list on all possible grounds as well as those raised in this petition. 3.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that there are some vacant posts where the Petitioners can be accommodated as they have requisite qualiications. It is open for the Petitioners to make representation to the Respondent to ventilate their grievances. 4.

It is made clear that we have not addressed on the merits of the contentions raised in this petition and all contentions are kept open to be agitated in appropriate proceedings including a writ petition, if necessary.
