By communication dated 30th January 2025, the Deputy Director (Secondary and Higher Secondary) had forwarded the proposal of Petitioners to the Commissioner (Education), Maharashtra State, Pune. Copy of the said communication is at Exhibit-A to the petition. In the said communication it is stated that as per directions received from the State Government vide communication dated 23rd August 2024, a report has to be submitted to the State Government for appropriate decision on the proposal. It is the grievance of Petitioner that the Commissioner (Education) has not submitted such report. 3.

In view of the above, this petition can be disposed of by directing Patil-SR 1 of

913(1) Wp-11520-2025.doc the Commissioner (Education), Maharashtra State, Pune to submit a report to the State Government in terms of communication dated 23rd August 2024 within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. Ordered accordingly. 4.

After a report is submitted by the Commissioner (Education), the State Government to take decision on the said report as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of such report.
