Learned counsel for the applicant prayed that the sentence of imprisonment for life imposed by the trial court for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the IPC against the applicant be suspended. He submitted that the evidence on record was not properly appreciated by the learned trial Court Judge. It is further submitted that the petitioner is in custody for more than 7 years since his arrest on 29th August 2018.

We have perused the findings of the trial Court. 3.

Heard learned APP, who opposed the application. 4.

Considering the findings recorded on the basis of material on record, at this stage, we are not inclined to suspend the sentence. However, we propose to make an endavour to hear the appeal finally itself on 15th October 2025 at 4.00 p.m.

The Interim Application is disposed of. Liberty to apply for bail after six months.
