Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner.

The Petitioner alleges breach of the Order dated 22nd April 2025 passed by this Court.

We are satisfied that the Order has not been complied with within the time granted. In paragraph No.12 of the Order dated 22nd April 2025, 1 of

it is clearly stated that the State Government was directed to upgrade the post within a period of 90 days from the date of the Order. 4.

Learned A.G.P. submitted that the proposal has already been forwarded by the Education Officer, Sangli to the State Government (Mantralaya). The State Government has called for opinion from the Deputy Director.

We find that once there is a categorical Order directing the State Government to upgrade the post, what remains to be done is merely the upgradation of the post and compliance with the Order passed by this Court.

We intend to grant an extension of 90 days to the State Government to comply with the Order. Since steps have been taken, we are of the opinion that there is no lawful disobedience of the Order passed by this Court.

In this view of the matter, we propose to extend the time to comply with the Order dated 22nd April 2025 by further period of 90 days from today. If, during the extended period of 90 days, the Order is not complied with, this Court may then take a serious view of the matter. 8.

The Contempt Petition is disposed of.

List the Contempt Petition on board on 1st April 2026, under the caption 'For compliance'.
