The petitioner seeks a direction to enter the name of the petitioner No.1 - Hausabai Rajaram Kumbhar in the revenue records in the light of the decree passed in Regular Civil Suit No. 369 of 2018 by the Civil Judge Junior Division, Karad as well decree passed in Regular Civil Appeal No.3 of 2023 by the District Judge, Karad. The petitioner has made a representation to the Tahasildar for efecting necessary entries in the revenue records on the basis of the decree passed by the Uday S. Jagtap 1 of

933-29158-2025-CWP=.doc competent Civil Court. The Tahasildar will have to abide by the decree of the competent Civil Court.

The petitioners are 80 and 85 years of age. In such circumstances, the Tahasildar is bound to give efect to the orders passed by the competent Civil Court. Accordingly, we direct the Tahasildar, Karad, Satara to decide the application, which is at Exh.C to the petition, seeking entering the name of the petitioner No.1 in the revenue records. The names of the petitioner on the basis of decree passed by the competent Civil Court, shall be entered in the revenue records subject to there being no legal impediment, as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of 4 weeks from the date of communication of this order.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
