Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner.

We have perused the Order dated 6th March 2025 in Writ Petition No. 951 of 2024 passed by this Court. Clause No.7 of the said Order reads thus :

"In the facts and circumstances of the case, we, therefore, dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the official respondents to conclude the process of demolition of the subject structure, if the same is found to be illegal, within a period of two months from today."

Once this Court has passed an order, it is expected that Respondent No.1 shall comply with the same. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the said order has not been complied with. Only by way of indulgence, we direct Respondent No.1 to comply with the directions issued by this Court within a period of four weeks from today.

Learned A.G.P. made an attempt to seek an adjournment. However, we are not inclined to accede to the request made by the learned A.G.P., considering that Respondent No.1 is obliged to implement the order passed by this Court, as no legal impediments are pointed out by the learned counsel for the Petitioner in the implementation of the said order. 5.

It is made clear that if Respondent No.1 fails to comply with the aforesaid directions within a period of four weeks from today, liberty is reserved to the Petitioner to apply to this Court, in which event this Court shall be constrained to take a serious view of the matter, including initiation of proceedings under the Contempt of Courts Act. 6.

With the aforesaid observations, the Petition is disposed of. 7.

List the Petition on board under the caption 'For compliance of the Order' on 4th February 2026.
