By the present petition iled under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner is seeking a limited direction to respondent No.4 - Deputy Director of Education to consider the proposal forwarded by respondent No.3 - Education Oicer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad, Solapur on 30th June, 2023 for granting Shalarth ID to the petitioner within four weeks from the date of passing of the order.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that although appointment of the petitioner is duly approved by the Education Oicer (Secondary), Zilla Parishad Solapur vide an order dated 29th May, 2023, the Deputy Director of Education has not yet decided Shalarth ID proposal submitted on 30th June, 2023. 4.

Time and again, this Court has held that once the proposal is approved by the Education Oicer, there is no hindrance for the Deputy Director of Education to include the name of such employee in Shalarth Pranali and grant him Shalarth I.D. Of course, this is subject to the fact that there was no objection in the approval. In view of this, respondent No.4 - Deputy Director of Education is directed to adjudicate the proposal dated 30th June, 2023 recommended by the Education Oicer for grant of Shalarth ID to the petitioner. Let this exercise be carried out within eight weeks from the date of communication of this order.
