The petitioners have iled the present proceedings under the title and style as 'Public Interest Litigation'. By the present PIL, the petitioners seek directions to the respondents to formulate a proper mechanism for the process of recruitment to the post of Police Patil. Uday S. Jagtap 1 of

Learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioners, seeks leave to withdraw the petition with liberty to ile appropriate representation to the concerned authorities as also legal proceedings as permissible in law. He would submit that petitioner Nos. 1 and 4 are present physically in this Court. Leave granted. 4.

The PIL petition stands disposed of as withdrawn. 5.

We make it clear that we have not observed anything on merits of the case as also the locus of the petitioners. 6.

The petitioners are at liberty to ile such representation and to take recourse to such legal remedies which are permissible in law. All contentions are kept open.
