Learned Counsel for the petitioners submits that, for the present, he would be satisfied if the request made by the petitioners for rehabilitation is decided either by the District Collector, Raigad (Rehabilitation) or the District Collector, Satara (Rehabilitation), Collector to deal with the matter at the earliest. The request made is reasonable. All these petitions are disposed of by this common order. If at all the petitioners are entitled to be rehabilitated in terms of the relevant statute or policy, the District Collector Satara or the District Collector Raigad, as the case may be, shall pass necessary orders and decide the representation which is at page Nos. 67 to 73 on its own merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, and in any case, within a period of three months from the date of communication / receipt or this order.

We find that the issue of rehabilitation has been substantially processed and even the land was in the process of being identified. We are sure that the competent authority, i.e. the Collector Satara or the Collector Raigad, as the case may be will ensure that the petitioners get their rightful dues within the period stipulated herein above.

All the petitions stand disposed of.
