Heard. Today the matter is placed on board pursuant to the Application / praecipe filed by the Office of the Government Pleader (Writ Cell), High Court, Appellate Side, Bombay.
The learned AGP submits that the present Writ Petition was on board before this court on 31.01.2020 when the learned advocate for the Petitioner withdrew the Writ Petition in view of the fact that the license issued by them was already renewed in their favour. He submits that the license was renewed vide their letter dated 06.01.2020. He has placed on record a true copy of the said letter dated Basavraj G. Patil 1/2
904.11797.17-wp.odt 06.01.2020. He submits that as per the said letter, the Assistant Commissioner, Food and Drugs Administration, Sangli can decide the renewal of license on its own merits. At this stage, the learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that they were not aware about the letter dated 06.01.2020. The statement is accepted.
In view of these facts, following order is passed: a.
It is made clear that the Commissioner, Food & Drugs Administration, Sangli can decide the validity of renewal of license on its own merits after hearing both the parties, as per the letter dated 06.01.2020. (SARANG V. KOTWAL, J.) (K.K.TATED, J.) Basavraj G. Patil 2/2
