DATE :
12th August 2015 P.C.
The learned counsel for the Petitioner states that in so far as reinstatement is concerned, the order of which contempt is alleged has been complied with. In so far as the backwages is concerned, the learned counsel Shri Topkar appearing for the management i.e. the Respondent Nos.1 and 2 states that the salary/backwages bills would be submitted to Respondent No.3 and the Petitioner would be accordingly paid. Upon this the learned counsel for the Petitioner Shri Bandiwadekar states that the direction is to the management to pay the backwages and therefore it should not happen that if the Education Officer refuses to clear the bills, then the Petitioner would not be paid. In my view, it is not necessary to go into the said aspect at this stage. With liberty to the Petitioner to approach this Court once again if there is non lgc
cp612.14 compliance of the order relating to the backwages, the above Contempt Petition is disposed of. It is made clear that the contentions of the parties in that respect are kept open for being urged at the appropriate time, if the occasion so arises.
