Heard. By this Civil Application, the Applicant husband is seeking stay of the operation and implementation of clause 2 of the impugned order dated 27.07.2017 passed by the Principal Judge, Family Court, Solapur in Petition No.A-189/2015 directing the Applicant to pay sum of Rs.4000/- pm to the Respondent wife towards the maintenance from the date of decision of the petition i.e. 27.07.2017.

On the last occasion, after arguing for some time, the matter was adjourned at the request of the learned counsel for the Applicant to take instructions from his client, at what rate the Applicant is ready and willing to pay maintenance to the Respondent wife.

904.21.18-cam.doc Today, the learned counsel for the Applicant submits that his client is ready to pay Rs.2000/- p.m. to the Respondent wife towards maintenance charges instead of Rs.4000/- p.m. as awarded by the Trial Court. To that effect, he has given in writing. Same is taken on record and marked "X" for identification.

Hence, by consent, following order is passed: a.

The operation and implementation of clause 2 of the impugned order dated 27.07.2017 passed by the Principal Judge, Family Court, Solapur in Petition No.A-189/2015 is stayed, subject to the Applicant paying Rs.2,000/- p.m. to the Respondent wife towards maintenance charges instead of Rs,.4,000/-.

b.

The Applicant to pay maintenance charges of Rs.2,000/- p.m. to the Respondent wife on or before 10th of each month.

c.

The Applicant to clear the arrears of maintenance charges within eight weeks from today.

d.
