By this application, the applicants are seeking suspension of sentence and grant of bail in Sessions Case No. 31 of 2021. 2.
It is contention of learned counsel for the Applicant that applicants are convicted by learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Sindhudurg, at Oros in Sessions Case No. 31 of 2021 by judgment order dated 28th July, 2025 for the offence punishable under Sections 353 and 332 read with 34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and sentenced to suffer simple imprisonment for 1 month and to pay a fine of Rs.1000/- each. Learned counsel further submitted that during trial
926-IA-3560-2025(CR) .DOC the applicants were on bail. It may take time to dispose off the appeal and requested to allow the application. 3.
Learned APP strongly objected to allow the application on the ground that if applicants released on bail, they may abscond and requested to reject the application.

I have heard both learned counsel. The sentence imposed upon the applicants is short terms sentence. During trial they were on bail. It may take time to dispose off the appeal. Considering these facts, I pass following order :
ORDER
I.
The application is allowed;
II.
The substantive sentence of imprisonment awarded to the applicants by the learned Addl. Sessions Judge, Sindhudurg, at Oros in Sessions Case No. 31 of 2021 by judgment order dated 28th July, 2025 is hereby suspended pending disposal of appeal.
III. The applicants be enlarged on bail on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- each with one or two sureties in the like amount.
IV.
The bail bonds to be furnished before the learned Sessions Judge, Sindhudurg at Oros.

The application is allowed in the aforesaid terms and is accordingly disposed off.
