The Applicant is apprehending arrest in Crime No.551 of 2025 registered with Karveer Police Station, District: Kolhapur, for the offences punishable under Sections 143(2), 3(5) of the of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for short, "BNS Act") and Sections 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956. 2.

It is prosecution's case that on 20th August, 2025, on secret information, the police had raided the farm house situated on Gargoti road and in the said raid police found victim along with customers. It is alleged that the Applicant and co-accused were Shantanu S. Dhudum 1/3

running the prostitution in the said farm house. 3.

It is contention of learned counsel for the Applicant that the Applicant has been falsely implicated in this case. The owner of the farm house has been released on anticipatory bail by the learned Sessions Court. While on interim relief, the Applicant has co-operated with the investigation. Investigation is almost completed and chargesheet has been filed. Hence, requested to allow the application. 4.

It is contention of learned APP that the Applicant was running the prostitution in the farm house. He was carrying the victim in his car. It shows that his involvement in the crime. The Applicant has antecedents. Considering allegations against the Applicant, his custodial interrogation is required, and requested to reject the application.

I have heard both learned counsel, perused F.I.R. and documents produced on record.

The allegations against the Applicant are that he was running the prostitution at farm house. The owner of the farm house has been released on anticipatory bail by the learned Sessions Court. Investigation is almost completed and charge-sheet has been filed. While on interim relief, the Applicant has co-operated with the Shantanu S. Dhudum 2/3

investigation. Considering these facts, I pass following order:

ORDER

i. The Application is allowed.

ii. In the event of arrest, the Applicant be enlarged on bail in connection with C.R. No.551 of 2025 registered with Karveer Police Station, District: Kolhapur, on executing P. R. Bond to the extent of Rs.20,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.

iii. The Applicant shall attend the concerned police station as and when required.

The application is allowed in the aforesaid terms and is accordingly disposed off.

It is made clear that the above observations are made only for the purpose of granting bail and the Trial Court shall decide the case on its own merits in accordance with law and uninfluenced by the observations made in this order.
