Present writ petition takes exception to order dated 20th May 2025 passed by Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Kolhapur. 2.

Admittedly, the appeal has been filed before Appellate Tribunal under Section 7-I of Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952. Since Appellate Tribunal was not available to hear appeal, this Court entertained the prayer for grant of interim relief. Accordingly, on 3rd November 2025, an order was passed directing petitioner to deposit an amount of Rs. 11,00,000/- with Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, and adinterim relief was granted in terms of prayer clause (b).

It is now informed that petitioner has deposited the amount pursuant to direction contained in order dated 3rd November 2025.

In view of aforesaid compliance, writ petition stands disposed of.

Ad-interim relief granted by this Court shall remain in force until disposal of appeal pending before the Appellate Tribunal. 6.

The deposit of amount shall be subject to final outcome of appeal and without prejudice to contentions of the parties. (S. G. CHAPALGAONKAR, J.)
